Our information age has produced an information explosion. Not only that, but the technology of our times has dethroned the traditional gatekeepers of information (newspapers, broadcast media, and so on.) The result, for both good and bad, is that we are all deluged with more information than we can process, coming from millions of voices.
That means that all of the stakeholders of your organization, all of the people with whom you deal, are inundated with messages. The most effective communicators are upgrading their communication skills to compete more effectively in the idea and message market.
